WHAT
JFK'S ASSASSINATION MAY TELL US ABOUT 9/11
For
those who refuse to consider the evidence that Lee Harvey Oswald
could not have been the lone assassin of President John F.
Kennedy in 1963, JFK's assassination probably won't shed any
light on 9/11. For those who have looked at this evidence
and agree that Oswald could not have been the lone assassin,
JFK's assassination is very instructive.
If
you still think that Oswald was the lone assassin, first
have a look at the portion of the Zapruder
film showing Kennedy's head being forcefully thrust
backwards as a bullet strikes it from the front. As you
watch the film, remember that Oswald was inside the Dallas Book
Depository, above and behind Kennedy's limousine when
Kennedy was shot. If a shot came from the front, it was
not from Oswald's rifle.
Second,
consider the deathbed confession of E. Howard Hunt, former CIA
Agent and Watergate Conspirator. Hunt, calling himself a
"bench warmer" in the plot, alleges that numerous
individuals connected with the CIA, along with Vice President
Lyndon Johnson, planned and executed the assassination and
subsequent cover-up. [first
article] [second
article] And here is a very recent (May 18,
2007) article about problems in the
conclusion that Oswald was the lone assassin: "Kennedy
Lone Gunman Theory Challenged".
If
this material hasn't convinced you that Oswald was not the lone
assassin, here is a film
by Alex Jones that almost certainly will. It's
an hour and half long, and well worth the time.
If
elements of the U.S. Government were involved in the
assassination of JFK, as the Zapruder film and the Hunt
confession (along with other evidence far too extensive to
present here) indicate, then we see that mass denial and the
failure of the mainstream media to establish the truth are not
unprecedented events. If conditions existed in 1963 for our own government
to kill the president and then cover up its involvement, it's
hard to argue that these same conditions didn't still exist in
2001. Our government is more powerful and more secretive
than it was in 1963, not less.
A
study of the mass denial in connection with the JFK
assassination reveals what we may be dealing with in the context
of 9/11 Truth. E. Martin Schotz, in his essay entitled
"The Waters of Knowledge versus the Waters of Uncertainty:
Mass Denial in the Assassination of President Kennedy",
says that our failure, as a society, to know who killed JFK
"is not based on any lack of data or because the data is
ambiguous. It is all extremely simple and obvious. Rather we
don't know because we are deeply emotionally resistant to what
such knowledge tells us about ourselves and our society.
Furthermore the powers-that-be do not reward people for such
knowledge. Indeed if a person is willing to acknowledge the
truth, is in a position to share such knowledge with the public,
and wishes to do so, then the organized institutions of our
society will turn sharply against such a person." His
essay can be found here.

Here is a film alleging that

This is a companion
