The
collapse of WTC 7
World
Trade Center Building 7 (WTC 7) was a 47-story steel-framed
skyscraper constructed during the 1970's. It was part of
the World Trade Center, all of which was leased by Larry
Silverstein only a few weeks prior to 9/11. It was not
struck by any aircraft. The photographic evidence suggests
that there were fires in the building only on a couple of
floors. However, at 5:20 p.m. on 9/11, this building
collapsed suddenly and at free-fall speed into its own
footprint, exhibiting, according to many observers, all of the characteristics of a controlled demolition.
This was only the third time in the history of steel-framed
skyscrapers that such a collapse, allegedly without explosives,
had happened. The first two occasions of such an event
were the collapses earlier that day of World Trade Center
Building 1 and World Trade Center Building 2, the twin towers.
Three
different U.S. government authorities, FEMA, NIST and the 9/11
Commission, have been charged with
explaining the events of 9/11, including the collapse of WTC
7. None of these authorities have seriously investigated any
hypothesis that is inconsistent with the official conspiracy
theory that all of the destruction of that day was brought about
exclusively by Arab Terrorists. None of these authorities
have been able to explain the collapse of WTC 7. None of
these authorities have been able to explain the observation of
all of the characteristics of controlled demolitions, including
the pools of molten metal found beneath the collapses for weeks
after 9/11.
Some
defenders of the official conspiracy theory suggest that the
south side of WTC 7 was seriously damaged by falling debris from
the twin towers. However, critics of the official story
respond that even if it were true that such
damage occurred (and, they say, evidence of this damage seems to be
lacking), and that such damage was sufficient to cause the
collapse, damage on only one side of the building could not
explain the perfectly symmetrical collapse that was
observed. In such a case, one would expect the building to
have toppled over.
Critics
of the official story point out that even if Arab terrorists had
had the access to the World Trade Center buildings necessary to
plant explosives and the technical expertise to do so (both
highly doubtful propositions), the interests of these terrorists
would have been better served if the buildings had toppled over
instead of disappearing neatly into their own footprints.
The death toll and degree of destruction would have been far
greater than they were.
National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) - NO EXPLANATION
Dr.
Shyam Sunder, lead investigator for NIST, was interviewed by
Mark Jacobson for an article New York Magazine. Sunder was
asked was why WTC 7 collapsed. He said "Truthfully, I
don't really know. We've had trouble getting a handle on
Building No. 7." Mark Jacobson, "The Ground Zero
Grassy Knoll", New York Magazine, March, 2006.
Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) - NO EXPLANATION
FEMA,
in its report on the collapse of WTC 7, concluded:
"The specifics of the fires in WTC 7 and how they caused
the building to collapse remain unknown at this time ...
the best hypothesis [a fire-induced collapse] has only a low
probability of occurence. Further research, investigation,
and analyses are need to resolve this issue." FEMA
World Trade Center Building Performance Study, Chapter 8:
Observations, Findings, and Recommendations.
The
9/11 Commission - NO EXPLANATION
The
9/11 Commission, in all of its 571-page report, says absolutely
nothing about the collapse of WTC 7.
Larry
Silverstein, Leaseholder -- "THEY MADE THAT DECISION TO
PULL"
Larry
Silverstein, Leaseholder of the entire World Trade Center
Complex, in an interview for the 2002 PBS documentary,
"America Rebuilds", said:
"I remember getting a
call from the, uh, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure
they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, ‘You know, we’ve
had such terrible loss of life, may be the smartest thing to do is, is pull it.
And they made that decision to pull and then we watched the building
collapse." [click

Zero EMT: They were warned that WTC was going to be pulled
A
New Jersey EMT has gone public on how emergency workers were
told that Building 7 was going to be "pulled," before
a 20 second demolition countdown broadcast over radio preceded

BBC Reported the Collapse of
Building 7 twenty minutes before it collapsed.
Here is a link to a film that
includes live footage aired by the BBC on 9/11. As the
reporter discusses the collapse of WTC 7, you can see WTC 7
still standing behind her. While we encourage you to watch
the whole film, the most interesting part of it is a ten-minute
segment beginning at about 14:50. The connection to this
reporter is inexplicably lost about five minutes before the
actual collapse. Did somebody realize that if she had not
been cut off, there would have been some immediate explaining to
do? Because she was cut off, viewers in Great Britain
weren't made aware of the very disturbing prescience of this
report. [watch
